Welcome to Becket Accounting & Tax, Inc.’s website!  I am glad you are here.   

I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) with more than 25 years of public accounting experience.  I opened this company a year ago and resigned from my accounting position a few months later to work on my own as a CPA.   Have you ever heard of the saying about “the best laid plans?”  Well, just like mice, men (and women) change their plans.  Currently, I am very thrilled to be working full time as a Controller for a multi-million dollar franchise that has 4 locations and would like to expand to 20 in the near future.  It has been a challenge and I have loved every minute of it.  Even though this keeps me busy, I never intended to get out of public accounting completely and so I am keeping my  growing corporation (yes it is growing) active.  I am now wearing 2 hats by being a private accountant by day and a public accountant by afternoon/evening.  I am available after 3:30 and into the evenings during tax season and all day Saturday.

If you are looking for an accountant who will offer professional, friendly service at a low cost, you need look no more.   I stay current in the ever changing tax laws by attending classes monthly so that I get at least 50 hours of CPE annually.  After your return is prepared and you give me the “OK” I’ll e-file your tax return, at no extra cost to you, so that you’ll receive your refund, in most cases, in 7 to10 days. 

If it’s QuickBooks help you need, I’m a 2007 and 2008 QuickBooks pro advisor and can assist you with setting up your QuickBooks or maintaining it once it is set up.  I’m only an email away (or phone call) if you have a question.

Are you tired of the time it takes and the responsibility of preparing your company’s payroll in house?  Consider letting me take over this job for you.  You will find my rates are very reasonable - probably less than what you pay for another outside payroll service company.
